While Markus spends most of his time in front of the camera, he has dabbled in camera work from time to time.
For his videography class, Markus was given a shot list to follow. This shot was listed as a low angle/ Dutch Tilt shot. A dutch tilt means that the camera is tilted one way instead of being level. Having worked with Dutch Angles before (see Blackjack in his filmography) Markus knew exactly what to do to get the shot to look how he wanted .
In order to get this, rather shaky, shot, Markus had to bend his knees by 45 degrees and walk slowly and awkwardly behind his friend to make it look like he was “running”. Was he successful? Take a look for yourself.
